Our Story


Kaleidoscope began in Pune with a simple decision — to follow my passion over my profession.

After years in banking, I chose to step away from numbers and return to what truly inspired me: working with fabric, colour, and craft. What started as a small home-based experiment gradually grew into a meaningful journey of creating handmade quilts rooted in sustainability.

At the heart of Kaleidoscope is my deep commitment to reuse and recycle. I thoughtfully repurpose pre-loved fabrics, textile remnants, and surplus materials, giving them a beautiful second life. Each quilt is carefully designed and hand-stitched, transforming forgotten pieces into vibrant works of art. No two are ever the same — every creation carries its own story.

In a world of fast production and excess waste, I believe in slow, mindful craftsmanship. By using natural fabrics, minimizing waste, and producing in small batches, I strive to reduce environmental impact while celebrating traditional handmade techniques.
From a small beginning in Pune to receiving orders overseas, Kaleidoscope has grown organically — one quilt at a time.

Why ‘Kaleidoscope’?

The name Kaleidoscope reflects the spirit of my creations – a celebration of colour, individuality, and shifting perspectives. Just like looking through a kaleidoscope, no two designs are ever the same, yet each composition is thoughtfully arranged with pattern, balance, and harmony. It represents diversity brought together with intention.
